General questions
For us to receive your penny via the internet without any third-party transaction fees canceling the penny out, you will need to contribute more than 1 penny.

We figured the best way to work around this issue would be to offer the inclusion of a website link in our Contributor Index in return for the remaining balance received. Once we have received your amount of 100 pennies, we will add the name & website link you've submitted to our index. Then your penny will be added to the pot.
Yes, anyone can contribute to the One Billion Pennies Project as long as they are over the age of 16.
Yes of course. You can contribute as many times as you like and submit as many website links as you like. Here's two examples ~

1 - If you contribute in one transaction say 300 pennies, this would mean 3 pennies will go towards the One Billion Pennies pot, but only one website link will be added to the project.

2 - Or, you could contribute 100 pennies via 3 separate transactions, then 3 pennies will still go towards the One Billion Pennies pot, plus you will have the option to submit three separate website links. This option would be recommended.
Unfortunately not. At the moment we are not collecting pennies via the postal system.
You can submit any personal profile website. The website could be your own Facebook, Facebook page, Myspace, LinkedIn, Twitter or any other personal profile website. We will not accept website's that display sexual, pornographic, pedophilia, violence, abuse or anything towards an obscene nature.
One billion. 1bn. 1,000,000,000
Collecting pennies from all 7.3 billion people in this world would be impossible, due to many factors like world poverty and certain ages of the population. One billion is below the total population of Europe and the United States combined.

Once our goal of 1,000,000,000 pennies has been reached, we will donate a very large sum to three reputable charity organizations. (minus fees and taxes)
The registered charity organizations that receive the pennies can be voted for by all who contributed their penny once we reach our goal. Once we reach our goal of 1,000,000,000 pennies, the top three voted for charities will receive a split donation. (minus fees and taxes)
